In 5.5 we used the Compliance Management tab heavily and need to use it in 5.9/6.0. Where can I find it?
Answer:
In 5.5, and prior versions, we had a tab called Compliance Management. In that tab, a user could define configurations they would like to verify for specific devices. For example, a user could define a specific set of NTP servers which should be used by all devices, regardless of their type.
In 6.0, these are simply rules as much as the other rules. In the user interface, go to the Alerts tab, then to the Indeni Rules subtab. The rules are you are interested in are called Compliance Checks (it’s a category you can choose from by clicking on “All Categories” filter). You can configure any of them to apply to specific devices or labels and will get alerted when a discrepancy is found.
