I used to test a new IND script on Indeni server by copying IND scripts to Indeni server in /usr/share/indeni-collector/kb/parsers/ directory. restart the indeni server.
Now it does not seem working any more.
Any ideas ?
thanks !!

Hi
Please put the relevant ind in: /usr/share/indeni-knowledge/overwrite/parsers/src
/usr/share/indeni-knowledge/overwrite/parsers/src
.
The collector should identify the new file but it’s better to restart the service
in order to be sure that the new ind is put into use:
sudo service indeni-collector restart
Gongya,
We updated the file structure. Check this link for more details:
https://indeni.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IKP/pages/76742659/Administration+and+Testing+on+a+Live+indeni+Server
root@indeni-server:/usr/share/indeni-knowledge/overwrite/parsers/src/checkpoint/gaia# ls -l
total 8
-rw-r–r-- 1 root root 798 Apr 30 00:52 coredumping-enabled.ind
-rw-r–r-- 1 root root 867 Apr 30 00:52 gaia-telnet-enabled.ind
Is this right ?
If I test IND script in a lively Indeni system, tail -f /usr/share/indeni-collector/logs/collector.log | grep telnet should display the IND script running, right ?
Seems that I could not see log as I could see the scripts in compiled packages. Did I miss something ?
thanks !!
Saw it in the log.
thanks !!
