Does anyone know how often the interrogation scripts are executed?


For instance, if I have an interrogation script to check if a technology is activated to a network device such as Fortigate VDOM and Nexus vPC. We assume that this technology was not configured when the network devices discovered by the indeni server. Then, the network admin configure one of these technologies such as the VDOM to fortigate.

When the indeni server will run the relevant interogation script to check that this technology is activated?

In general, interrogation script will run when:

  1. The device was added
  2. Device permissions changed


In your case, will it be a valid option to use monitoring script to identify that something change in the device and we now need to reintegrate? Then we can signal re-interrogation for this specific device
