Running Indeni server for first time. Just wanted to view current network settings and exit. Now I'm stuck with "ERROR! Must enter a value since there is no current value." I don't want to enter a value right now. Only option to restart vm.
Thanks for letting us know about this, Hawkeye! The Indeni server is set to run off eth0, which can be assigned an IP address via DHCP, if you don't have a static IP in mind, or want to enter one.
- If you want to see the IP address assigned to the Indeni server via DHCP, type in 'ifconfig -a' via your CLI (putty-terminal), and look at the IP address under etho.
- To exit from the IP address configuration, use control+z on your keyboard, and it will take you back to the indeni@indeni-server:~$ field.
