My backups take forrrrrever. Help!
Hello!
Start by extracting the backup on your desktop or on a server and see which part of it takes the most room. If you have extracted it on a linux machine, you could use the tool "TreeSize" to visualize it.
If you find that the backups includes something you do not want, you can change the scheme to exclude this.

Take a look at your database revision count. By default Check Point saves 50 database revisions. Doh! In my experience, 5-10 is a reasonable amount. Also, be sure to remove any db rev's that are slated for do not delete and are from years ago. Chances are you will never revert.
