I decided to try product but spent way to much time importing indeni-server-6.5.2-2019-02-17.ova.zip to my lab. Not sure what is wrong and what VM hardware version you were using. But import partially fails - on import VM reports OK almost instantly, and disk import step got skipped.
I was able to get it imported to Workstation PRO 15. But then was still struggling with ESXi 6.0
