Ability to disable a rule for a specific interface for period of time

I’d like to disable alerts for specific interfaces for a short period of time or eternity. I can’t have critical alerts being sent to the entire team continuously when the interfaces are known to be down for a period of time. This would train engineers to ignore the alerts vs react to a new interface that goes down that is legitimately concerning.

In addition we wouldn’t want to disable the alerting for ALL interfaces on that device.

Interfaces are sub-issues. They show up as alert items. You do have the ability to archive them. But having to do that after the fact is painful. This is a good requirement. I’ll create a ticket.
